Match Of The Week - Kenny Omega vs Rich Swann - Impact Rebellion  (Chris/Ruthie’s pick)

There was a lot of great wrestling this week and we were torn between this contest and the Daniel Bryan/Roman Reigns clinic from Smackdown. However, Omega/Swann for all the marbles in AEW and Impact gets our vote. It’s extremely rare to see two companies champions duel it out for each brand’s gold and the match more than lived up to the stakes. An epic 20+ minute match full of V-triggers, great reversals and really close near falls (how did Swann get his shoulder up?!). We loved this match and thought it definitely lived up to the high stakes billing.

Gem Of The Week - (Chris/Ruthie's pick) Penta El Zero Miedo vs Orange Cassidy

This is a great match. The ring psychology from Orange Cassidy is amazing. You can really tell the pockets gimmick irritates Penta. You think the laid back attitude of Orange is funny, but it’s not. It’s very clever ring psychology. A nicely paced match that you must check out. 

Josh Alexander vs TJP vs Ace Austin - Impact Rebellion (Chris' Pick)

You knew going in this match would be high energy and entertaining with plenty of innovative moves and they definitely didn’t disappoint. These three guys have had some great matches for the X Division title over the last few months, with whatever combination you choose offering up gold. Ace Austin, the reigning champ coming in, is one of my favourites and tips to make it big, as is Josh Alexander for Ruth. If you want a thrilling, highly entertaining triple threat, look no further and definitely check this one out. Whether you’re an Impact fan or not, any wrestling fan would be doing themselves a favour doing so!

Promo Of The Week - Inner Circle and Pinnacle Parlay - AEW Dynamite  (Chris/Ruthie's pick)

As Jericho said this promo segment was heavily influenced by Pirates of the Caribbean. We finally heard off Shawn Spears who cut a strong promo. Sammy Guevara made it personal by bringing up Spears past. Each wrestler finally had a chance to say something. Then the promo got serious. The spectacular heel MJF cut one hell of promo on Jericho. He mentions how Jericho carries a heavy crown for AEW and maybe it’s time a new and more talented wrestler should takeover. Well the immortal and incredible Chris Jericho cut a promo that blew us off our sofa. He reminded us that he still has that fire. The same fire from 30 years ago. Check this parlay out! 

Move Of The Week - Human Centipede Ankle Lock - Ace Austin/Josh Alexander/TJP - Impact Rebellion (Chris/Ruthie's pick)

Our gem of the week was always gonna have contenders for best move too as these three X Division stars throw up eye-opening moves every time they step in the ring. Recently we’ve had a Death Valley Driver into a Piledriver winning our move of the week by them, now it’s, what we’re calling, a Human Centipede-style Ankle Lock! Josh Alexander putting on one lock before then being placed in one himself and both guys trying to resist the pain was an awesome spot that instantly stood out to us. We can’t wait to see what they throw up next.

WOW! MOMENT OF THE WEEK - (Chris/Ruthie's pick)

Brian Cage beats Hangman Page - AEW Dynamite 

We sat on the sofa watching this thinking Hangman Page was going to win a good wrestling match. Well WOW we were wrong! Brian Cage showed his strength and who the real NO 1 contender is! What a shocking win for Cage and Team Taz!

Show Of The Week- Impact Rebellion

This show really felt like a rebellion. All the way through the show you wondered if Omega and his kronies were going to invade Impact. It was the final match between Omega and Swann where it felt like an invasion. You had only a few Impact Wrestlers and quite a few well-known officials from AEW. AEW really felt like the enemy. This show made history and you should go and check out why.
