In honour of Paul Wight making the news recently we thought why not this electric contest from prime Attitude-era WWF?
We're just before Wrestlemania 2000, The Rock is massively over in the absence of an injured Steve Austin, Triple H is the hated champion and Big Show is still in the early stages of his time with the company. Both men are eager to challenge the champ but right now Show has the right despite Rock winning the Rumble.
What follows here is a 'winner take all' duel for the right to headline Wrestlemania. The crowd have rarely been hotter, they're so desperate for Rock to win its a must see for their reaction alone. The moment when Vince appears and ousts special referee Shane, giving Rock the advantage, the noise is deafening. A true highlight from a classic period in wrestling history. It's the WWF in 2000, it doesn't get too much better than this.
