Match Of The Week - Young Bucks vs PAC/Rey Fenix -AEW Dynamite (Chris/Ruthie's pick)

These two teams put on exactly the type of match you would expect from them. An absolute barn burner! Opening the show with the tag titles on the line, the Bucks are now firmly in heel mode, being the ultra-d*ck, Dior trainer wearing bad guys a lot of people have been waiting for. PAC and Fenix bring it like they always do and after a number of high flying sequences and near falls, the finish we get is a genuinely shocking one. Spoiler alert...it’s also our move of the week below!

Gem Of The Week - Leon Ruff Vs Isiah Scott - NXT (Chris/Ruthie's pick)

Man, these two guys brought it this week! Feuding for the last two months or so, this is the best we’ve seen from either one so far. Not the longest match but how much they cram in is pretty unbelievable. The top rope power bomb reversal and Ruff leaping down the ropes to evade Scott are brilliantly executed, high pace moves. We loved this match and were instantly taken with it. A true gem hidden away on NXT....GO CHECK IT OUT!

Promo Of The Week -  Raquel Gonzalez new NXT Champion- NXT (Chris/Ruthie's pick)

This was a strong promo from Gonzales. She talked about her journey and it seems she could become a “face” soon. Frankie Monet came out to “congratulate” Gonzalez but it seems Monet will be chasing the championship. After cutting a solid promo she is joined by Rhea Ripley the Raw Champion, and Bianca Bel Air the Smackdown Champion. A great promo that should be checked out to see the three powerful women of wrestling together.

Move Of The Week - Young Bucks rip off Rey Fenix’s mask before double super kick - AEW Dynamite (Chris/Ruthie's pick)

Wow this made us both jump from our seats and say WTF!! At the of an absolutely excellent tag title match with PAC and Fenix, the Bucks do one of the ultimate heel moves and rip off Fenix’s mask! As quick as a flash Fenix covers his face but, while saving his identity, he eats a double super kick and loses the match. The cherry on top of an outstanding, fresh heel performance by the Bucks, this was one of the most memorable match finishes on Dynamite ever.

WOW! MOMENT OF THE WEEK - Darby Allin Coffin Drops from Scaffold onto Matt Hardy - AEW Dynamite (Chris/Ruthie's pick)

We flirted with going with the Rey Fenix unmasking but that was our move of the week instead. We also nearly went with Kushida beating Santos Escobar for the NXT Crusierweight title but ultimately chose Darby Allin climatically and definitively finishing off a brutal main event with Matt Hardy, and the first Dynamite of the non-Wednesday night war era, by doing what he does best. Something ridiculously crazy, dangerous and cool...aka a massive coffin drop off a scaffold to his opponent on the commentary table. Again Darby Allin.....Wow.

Show Of The Week- AEW Dynamite (Chris/Ruthie's pick)

AEW Dynamite yet again smashed it out of the park. With the wonderful tag team high flying match mentioned at the start of this post, to Darby Allin’s coffin drop from a height onto Matt Hardy, this show will have you taking gasps, and shouting for your favourite wrestler. So go get a cuppa and sit down. Be ready to fly by your pants watching this amazing show.
