Match Of The Week -  (Chris/Ruthie's pick) Ciampa vs Walter for NXT UK Championship @ NXT Stand and Deliever

Well this match lived up to the Pay-per-view title Stand and Deliver. Ciampa and Walter two veterans in the ring, the Pschyo Ciampa and the Ring General Walter. Both of these men sold for each other. The psychology of this match is the best we’ve seen in the last five to ten years. You see why Walter is the ring general. He knows the basics, he knows how to sell WELL for Ciampa. You really bought into Walter’s hurt hand, from the moment it happened to the moment the match ended. Ciampa folded every time Walter used a forearm because those forearms are hard! We winced at these two wrestling each other and we bought into the rivalry, In our opinion not just match of the week, but even a contender for match of the year.

Runner Up - Io Shirai vs Raquel Gonźalez - Nxt Takeover Night 1

Gem Of The Week - (Ruthie's pick) XXXL vs Sami Callihan &Trey Miguel

This match had me wondering whether Trey was going to be in Sami’ corner and he was. I won’t give too much away. The two worked really well together against XXXL leaving me to question will we be seeing more of Callihan and Miguel together? Recently Miguel as seemed a bit lost since his friends Dez and Wentz to NXT to form MSK. Since Miguel has been with Callihan he seems to have a purpose. a great fast paced match that you won’t be able to take your eyes off. Check it out!

Johnny Gargano Vs Bronson Reed - NXT North American Title - NXT Takeover Night 2 (Chris' Pick)

I thought this would be an ok title match but it actually surprised me in how engaging it turned out to be. Helped by the fact I didn’t know who would win, Bronson looked really strong here and brought it to Gargano in a hard-hitting,back and forth contest. Amongst a lot of wrestling this week it’s a gem worth watching.

Promo Of The Week -  Chris Jericho Tears apart The Pinnacle - AEW Dynamite (Chris/Ruthie's pick)

The Inner Circle were back this week cutting a promo on The Pineapple, we mean The Pinnacle. Chris Jericho was really the main guy cutting the promo, and as usual he stood in the ring looking like the Immortal Superstar that he is. Jericho’s promo was witty and very edgy even bringing the Fed into it! If we were My Jerk-Off Friend we’d be brushing up on my mic skills, as Chris Jericho reminded us all that he still has it.

Move Of The Week - Jordan Devlin Tornado DDT Off Ladder - NXT Takeover Night 2(Chris/Ruthie's pick)

Loads of good moves in this one from picture perfect moonsault to a beautiful Spanish Flea. Our pick though is a great sequence where Santos Escobar catapults Devlin onto a standing ladder who then lands, composes himself and hits a brutal tornado DDT out of nowhere. Great move in a match full of them.

Runner Up - Kyle O’Reilly top chain knee drop to Adam Cole - NXT Takeover Night Two

WOW! MOMENT OF THE WEEK - (Chris/Ruthie's pick) - Io Shirai vs Raquel Gonźalez NXT Women’s Championship @ NXT Stand and Deliver N1

This match was fast paced and full of high spots especially from Io Shirai The Genius of the Sky. Shirai climbed up on the Skull and did  a jump off the skull... IT WAS 20 FEET HIGH! WOW! WOW! WOW! Go and check it out.... NOW.

Runner Up - Young Bucks turn on Jon Moxley - AEW Dynamite 

Show Of The Week- (Chris/Ruthie's pick) NXT Takeover Stand and Deliver Night 1

This show was really paced out starting out with a decent match between Pete Dunne and Kushida, peaking with Walter and Ciampa and ending with a bang with Io Shirai and Raquel Gonźalez. The whole show was produced well and looked and sounded great. All the wrestlers were on the top of their game, feeding off the crowd, and using the whole ringside area. A spectacular show that flew by for me. A really must see Takeover.
